April Fools: Apple TV+ revives Sprout

Please note that this was just an April Fools joke. Some people even thought this was a joke right away!

Madeline Fretz – ATTENTION SPROUT FANS! Apple TV+ today announced that they would put classic Sprout content (i.e. Good Night Show, Sunny Side Up Show, Sprout Sharing Show) on their streaming service. Not only that, but a spokesperson announced that the service was ordering new original series starring original Sprout stars – all with 20 episodes.

Expect to see not only Michele Lepe, Milton Barnes etc reprising their roles, but except a walk down memory lane with even more bedtime stories, crafts, stretches, and of course viewer-submitted content.

It is unknown when the new shows will premiere, but the spokesperson said they will have a Sprout-branded preschool block on Apple TV+ similar to Cartoonito on HBO Max.

Seems like the people at Apple TV+ and NBCUniversal read my fanfic as well as my many, many petitions.
